Let’s take it back to 1999…
Some of Josie’s earliest memories are in the kitchen, standing on a stool with her “magic spoon,” helping stir Christmas cookie dough. The smell of butter, sugar and cinnamon filled the air—and so did the joy of baking something to share. That same love of creating small, meaningful treats still inspires every batch that comes out of her oven today.
It all began with the attempt to create the “perfect” cookie…
Josie spent quite some time in 2023 trying to create the “perfect” cookie. The bakery fell into place when friends asked time and time again to bake for various gatherings and events.
Josie develops each recipe herself. Her goal is to take basic flavors, create new combinations, and develop innovative treats. Each cookie, pastry and product undergoes careful ingredient sourcing and small batch testing. She loves the opportunity to be creative with flavor, decoration and packaging!
Josie strives to source quality ingredients and packaging products. Her goal is to obtain ingredients that undergo as little processing as possible. She does not use dyes or unnecessary additives in cookies or products. She firmly believes that the correct inputs will create the best treat.
Since baking professionally, Josie has had the opportunity to partner with and collaborate with local businesses. She has served many families around northeast Ohio.
